Episode 9
This was a fun episode to record. We literally texted each other after the assassination attempt on Donald Trump with him dodging bullets. We said we would have to record ASAP, and then Biden drops out the race? This can’t be real life, but it really is. Someone said “we are living in the twilight zone” to me earlier today and I couldn’t agree more. This really is a strange time in US Politics.
But of course, in typical No In-Between Podcast style we found humor in the darkest of times. Because this is what we do. We poke fun at things, but also have a bit of seriousness to our conversations at the same time. And while we clown on Donald Trump a bit, we again don’t condone political violence, regardless of their inability to lead a horse to drink. The first amendment is here for all us to be able to use it. SAFELY! What took place in Pennsylvania during his rally goes against what we as American’s stand for. We couldn’t imagine what it was like for folks have to endure that. Dodging bullets and running for your life wasn’t on the agenda. And RIP to that man who lost his life for nothing. Sad time for us.
